Wedding Photography in Lucknow
Candid, editorial and traditional coverage — every ritual of your wedding composed with restraint and intention.
The Approach
An honest record, beautifully made
Our photographers work the way documentary artists do — unobtrusive, patient, always watching. The laugh your father tried to hide, the pause before the varmala, the grandmother's hands during the pheras: these are the photographs families return to. Around them, we craft editorial portraits with the discipline of a fashion shoot — light shaped, backgrounds considered, never more than minutes taken from your day.
The Detail
Complete coverage, one standard
From an intimate roka at home to a five-day celebration across venues, coverage is designed around your functions. Traditional family photographs are made with the same care as the candid work — organised quickly, lit properly, and delivered alongside curated highlight sets within days of the wedding.
The Team & The Craft
Built for Indian weddings
A Lucknow wedding is not one event but a season — roka, haldi, mehendi, sangeet, the wedding itself, reception. Our coverage is designed around that rhythm. Depending on your functions and guest count, two to four photographers work alongside our cinematography team: one always with the bride, one with the groom's side, one moving through family and guests so the candid record never pauses while portraits are being made.
Everything is photographed on professional full-frame equipment with fast prime lenses built for the low, warm light of Indian venues — mandap flames, fairy lights, sodium-lit baraats. Backup bodies, dual card slots and same-night backups mean your photographs are protected from the moment they are made.
The Day
How a wedding day unfolds with us
Bridal & groom preparations
We arrive before the make-up artist finishes — the lehenga on its hanger, the kaleeras, your mother fixing the dupatta one last time. These quiet frames anchor the whole album.
Baraat & welcome
High-energy, fast-moving coverage of the baraat, dhol and milni — photographed wide for the chaos and close for the emotion.
Varmala & pheras
The ceremonial heart of the day. We position discreetly around the mandap, never interrupting the pandit, shaping light so the fire, the vows and the faces all hold.
Family portraits
Organised in minutes, not hours — a prepared list, a set corner with proper light, so elders are comfortable and you return to your guests quickly.
Vidaai
Photographed with restraint. Some of the most treasured images we make each season come from these final minutes.
A Recent Story
A winter wedding in old Lucknow
Last December we photographed a two-day wedding that moved from a haldi at the family home in Indira Nagar to pheras at a heritage lawn near Hazratganj. Fog rolled in during the baraat; instead of fighting it we used it — the groom's horse emerging through mist and marigold light became the opening spread of the album. By the vidaai the following dawn, the same fog had turned gold. Knowing this city's light in November and December is not a detail. It is the difference between a record and a photograph.
